Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

Part-funded by Innovate UK, a KTP brings University of Lincoln expertise and a dedicated Associate into your business to deliver a strategic project.

What a KTP is

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a powerful way for industry partners to access the expertise, research capability, and innovation potential of the University of Lincoln. Part-funded by Innovate UK, KTPs bring together businesses, academic experts, and a dedicated graduate or post-graduate Associate to deliver strategic projects that address key business challenges, drive innovation, and create lasting competitive advantage.

If your business is looking to develop new products, improve operational performance, embrace new technologies, or expand into new markets, a KTP can provide the expertise, funding and dedicated resource needed to accelerate progress, while also potentially enabling your business to benefit from research and development tax relief.
